SiGeKo

A safety and health protection coordinator (SiGeKo) must always be appointed when several trades are working together on a construction site. They are responsible for defining and coordinating occupational safety and health protection measures and checking compliance with them. The legal basis for this is the Construction Site Ordinance (BaustellV) and the Rules for Occupational Safety on Construction Sites (RAB).
