Occupational Safety Specialist and/or HSE Manager (m/f/d)
As an occupational safety specialist and/or HSE manager (m/f/d), you will advise the company on all matters relating to occupational safety, health and environmental protection. You will analyse operational processes with regard to safety risks, develop effective protective measures and ensure their sustainable implementation. In doing so, you will work closely with internal teams, managers, external companies and authorities to comply with legal requirements and internal HSE standards. Your goal is to create and continuously develop a holistically safe and healthy working environment.
Area of responsibility:
- Conducting risk assessments
- Creating operating instructions and supporting training materials
- Advising employees and management on occupational safety
- Implementing legal and internal occupational safety requirements
- Conducting and moderating occupational safety committee (ASA) meetings and training safety officers
- Supporting occupational health management
- Regional construction site support, including checking safety standards during regular site visits
- Dealing with and liaising with the relevant occupational health and safety and environmental protection authorities and professional associations
- Advising and supporting on external company management, various work permit procedures, integration and continuous improvement of occupational health and safety and
- environmental protection
- Creating and updating a project-wide HSE concept
Grundqualifikationen:
- Occupational safety specialist in accordance with §6 ASiG and willingness to undertake further training
- Practical experience in the field of occupational safety
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
- Analytical thinking skills, willingness to learn
- Ability to deal with conflict and a committed manner when dealing with management and employees
- Good communication skills and assertiveness
